Claremont Museum

 

Claremont Museum collects and preserves items associated with the district, including oral histories and photographs. The facility provides researchers with information on Claremont's history and the education program for schools is designed to fit the curriculum. Located on the picturesque Freshwater Bay, Claremont Museum is a premier facility to hold Claremont's storied past and treasures.

Hands on History

Town of Claremont is thrilled to welcome back the Hands on History education program at the newly renovated Claremont Museum. The program is offered in terms 3 & 4 for 2022. For more infromation, visit the museum website

Ten Stories 

Look at the tale behind 10 interesting items chosen from the museums extensive collection. From old MLC uniforms to a statue from the old Sunflower Chinese restaurant that must stay in Claremont, these unique stories are not to be missed. You also have the opporutnity to share your own favouriute Claremont story and add to the rich history of the Town.
