Town of Claremont are calling for brave monster hunters to help catch eight cheeky monsters hidden in shops across the Claremont Town Centre these school holidays.

Over two days on 5 & 6 October, the Claremont Town Centre will be taken over by some not-so-scary monster madness and the community is invited to take part in the Claremont Monster hunt.
Mayor Jock Barker said the school holiday activities across the town centre have become a key event families look forward to.

“Our school holiday activations in the town centre are always extremely popular and continue to grow,” Mayor Barker said. “It’s fantastic to be able to promote what our town centre has to offer, for both adults and kids alike, with events such as these.”

Monster hunters can grab a map from the town square and follow the trail to the monsters’ last known locations. Collect a monster stamp at each location and once all stamps are collected, return to the town square for a reward.

Along the way, there’ll be monster arts and crafts, monster face painting, monster games as well as a monster bouncy castle. Participants will also be able to meet some monster-like reptiles, and even hold one – if you’re feeling brave!

“We love to be able to collaborate with our local businesses and support the local economy through activations such as these school holiday trails and the Claremont Night-time Activation Grants,” Mayor Barker said.

Participating businesses include Toyworld Claremont, Moose Café and Restaurant, Zoo Products, Advantage Pharmacy, Pollito Chipotle Grill, Grill’d, Mad Mex, The Athlete’s Foot Claremont, T2 Claremont, Claremont Quarter, Studio Pilates Claremont, The Magic Coat and the Claremont Community Hub & Library.
With over $1000 worth of great prizes up for grabs, including one for the most monsterfied dress-up outfit, this is one monster hunt that you won’t want to miss.
