Have you ever wondered why your street is called what it is?
Join us at the Claremont Museum for the opening of our new exhibition, Streets of Claremont, and discover the fascinating stories, people and places hidden behind the names of Claremont’s streets.
Be among the first to explore the exhibition and uncover the meaning behind every street name — from the familiar to the unexpected.
Enjoy a morning tea and relaxed conversation with members of the Museum’s curatorial team, who will share insights into the research, classification and detective work that brought this exhibition to life.
Discover a story behind the street you live on, walk along or pass every day.
This event is free but bookings are required.
