Volunteering

Are you interested in putting your foot forward to volunteer at some of the Towns events or service providers?

Volunteers are always welcomed at SHINE, Meals on Wheels, Freshwater Bay Museum, The Claremont Community Hub and Library and Lake Claremont.

From 10.00 am to 1.00 pm every  Friday the Claremont Community Hub & Library provides a “one stop” service of free, friendly information about volunteering, local volunteer positions available and assist you in finding a suitable role.

If you represent a local not-for profit organisation and need volunteers, register free with us to promote your volunteer positions.  For more information or to make an appointment contact the Nedlands Volunteer Resource Centre on 9273 3640 or volunteering@nedlands.wa.gov.au

If you are interested please contact the Community Development team 9285 4300 or toc@claremont.wa.gov.au.

Volunteer Awards

The Town of Claremont Volunteer Awards are held in May each year. The awards recognise the vital role volunteers play in our community, and individuals who make a significant contribution. For further information, please contact the Town at toc@claremont.wa.gov.au
