CLAREMONT AQUATIC CENTRE - IMPORTANT NOTICE OF CLOSURE
The Claremont Aquatic Centre will be closed for urgent pool works from 1 July to 6 September 2021.
This includes replacing the liners of the 25 and 50 metre pools, and the tiles on the head walls. To undertake these works, both pools will need to be fully emptied, and to minimise disruption these works have been programmed for the quieter winter months. The Town will use this closure opportunity to assume other minor repairs and improvements to the facility.
We understand this will cause inconvenience to varying degrees, however we look forward to reopening with an even better community facility in early September. For information on swimming lessons, please contact your swimming school direct.

The aquatic centre includes:
- Eight-lane, 50 metre pool
- Diving pool with 2 diving boards
- Seven-lane, 25 metre lap pool
- Playground
- Water playground
- Swimming merchandise shop
- Free to use picnic & BBQ area
- Cafe
- Shade shelters*
- Club room*
With free wi-fi, a cafe and a beautiful picnic area it is a great place for the family to enjoy.
