The Claremont Pool Water Dux Swim School is fully endorsed by the Royal Life Saving Society. Of course, all our instructors are fully qualified, and hold either a current Austswim or Royal Life Saving Certificate, so you can be sure your child is receiving the best standard of instruction possible.

Learn To Swim Programme

We aim to teach children with different ability levels, water awareness and safety in a fun, safe and fully supervised environment. Whether your child is a beginner, gaining confidence in the water, learning to swim, or at the advanced stage requiring stroke correction, we can cater to your child's needs. Claremont Pool not only has a 50m pool, but also has the added advantage of a shallow 25m pool, which more easily facilitates swimming lessons.

We have small class sizes with a maximum of four in Levels 1 and 2, and maximum of six from levels 3 and above. Our program runs according to the Royal Life Swim and Survive program, Levels 1 through to bronze medallion status.

Swimming Lessons Dates And Times

Swimming lessons will operate from 2^ndof October 2007 until the 5^th of April 2008.

Series 6:

(Term 1): 11^th Feb – 5^th April 2008 (16 lessons)

Please note Series 6: there will be no classes Easter Monday and Saturday. Tuesday and Thursday lessons will be reduced to 14 lessons due to night carnivals. Fees will be adjusted accordingly.

Enrolments

All swimming lesson enquires and enrolments forms can be addressed to Sam the Swim School Co-ordinator by phone, fax, e-mail or of course in person.
Payment must be made by the specified date on the enrolment form.
Any payments received after the due date will incur a late fee of $10.

Refund Policy and make-up classes

Refunds will not be given for classes missed during the series.
Water Dux operates on a non make-up system. Lessons cannot be made up by joining another class.
This policy does not apply if a medical certificate is produced.

Private Lessons

We offer personal tuition for any age group desiring intensive training. Our lesson times are flexible and cater for the beginner through to the advanced swimmer. Private tuition is available throughout the winter season. Cost is $20.00 per half hour lesson including entry.
