Parking

The Town exercises its local laws to control parking in Claremont. These local laws contain similar restrictions to those in the Road Traffic Act. Consideration is also given to aesthetic, safety and environmental issues.

Nobody likes to get a parking infringement notice, but without parking control many of Claremont’s facilities would be denied to the public.  Parking in Claremont is free, as long as parking restrictions are observed.

PARKING STATIONS

The Town of Claremont has multiple parking stations. Streets in the Claremont Town Center are also considered parking stations, such as parallel parking on Bay View Terrace and St Quintens Ave. These stations all have different different time restrictions, so please check these before deciding where to park
