Community Cultural Plan |

On 16 October 2001 Council adopted its new
Community Cultural Plan , which
aims to inform Council and the community of cultural development initiatives and to
foster the unique cultural qualities that are represented within, and are of great
importance to, the Town of Claremont.
Numerous tasks and outcomes are identified in the plan, and cover the following areas:
- Venues
- Cultural Choices
- Learning About our Culture
- Public Environment
- Local Identity
- Preservation of our Cultural Heritage
- Cultural Diversity
- Culture and the Local Economy
- Participation in Cultural Events
The implementation of this plan will have a significant and positive impact on the Town.
