Community Satisfaction Survey

Community consultation is playing an increasingly important part in local government activities. More importantly, Councils are becoming increasingly aware of the need to respond to community expectations in regard to service delivery. One way to gauge this is by conducting regular community surveys.

The Town of Claremont acknowledges the need for professional and un-biased research into its community’s perceptions of Council’s performance in delivering its services and facilities.

To this end, the Town of Claremont commissioned Australian Market Intelligence to undertake the 2002 community satisfaction survey presented. This is the second such report, the first being conducted in 2000. This report details the findings of the current research.

Community Survey 2002 Final Report

The results of the 3rd survey of residents and ratepayers are now available.  The previous two surveys, conducted in 2000 and 2002, revealed a steady increase in satisfaction across a majority of service areas of Council.  The 2005 survey reflects a continuing increase in satisfaction.
