THE AGED PERSONS SUPPORT SERVICE (TAPSS)

The Aged Persons Support Service is located at 81 Forrest Street, Cottesloe.  It is funded and supported by the Town of Claremont in co-operation with the Towns of Cottesloe and Mosman Park and the Shire of Peppermint Grove.  Home and Community Care (HACC) funding is also received from the State and Federal Government to maintain this ongoing service.  The service is provided by volunteers and managed by a paid Coordinator, and some paid staff, and provides assistance for the elderly in the areas of transport services, small maintenance requests, shopping and home visits.

Social activities, such as cards, lunches and outings are also provided by TAPSS.

Although the service is physically located at Cottesloe, it is a service designed for, and financed by, the four western suburbs local Councils for all seniors in the catchment areas mentioned above.

Please contact TAPSS on (08) 9383 2663 for further information.
