Get Into Health

Rain, hail or shine, on Sunday 21 May the community are invited to Get Into Health and enjoy the Lake Claremont vista for the annual Get Into Health event. The event is open to everyone, including seasoned runners, walkers, beginners and those wanting to have some fun.
There are three courses so you can choose your path to ‘get into health’. They are:
- 4km walk (starts 8.30am) – Get into the groove with our special Silent Disco and maybe even try a few dance moves along the way
- 5km run (starts 8am) – A good course for runners just starting out, with a chance to win a yoga prize pack from Tamara Yoga
- 10km run (starts 7.30am) – If you’re aspiring towards a half marathon or just for the love of the run, this is for you.
Enter to win some great prizes from Lululemon, Rebel Sport and Tamara Yoga.
Re-charge after the race, with some tasty healthy food options including fresh smoothies, juices, smashed avo on toast and takeaway coffee. There will also be health, wellbeing and active-themed stalls to browse after your walk or run.
All courses are free to enter, but registration is necessary.

and make sure you collect your race pack from the Town of Claremont from 12 noon to 4pm on Thursday 18 May or Friday 19 May. Entrants must arrive 30 minutes before course start time.
Enter before 12 May to be in the running to win a $250 Rebel Sport Voucher. Registrations close Wednesday 17 May at 4pm.
A fantastic two night getaway at Rottnest Island will be up for grabs just by registering. The winner will be announced on the day at 9.30am, along with course prize winners.
